Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Reading lace from charts

Pattern Description:

A vintage inspired hierloom baby set featuring Canopy Fingering. The cardigan is knit from the neck down, enabling you to customize both length and width and the bonnet features an interesting seamless construction.

Gauge:

32 sts = 4" in Lace Pattern on 2.5mm needles, blocked.
*It is imperative you check gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 0-3 months (18" chest circ.), 6-9 months (20" chest circ).

Materials:

  • The Fibre Company Canopy Fingering, 50% Alpaca, 30% Merino, 20% BAmboo. 200 yards/ 50 grams per skein. Blue Crown, 3 Skeins

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 set size US 1.5 (2.5mm) needles, either straight or circulars, and set dpns.
  • 10 stitch markers, one unique
  • tapestry needle
  • 2 yards 3/8" wide ribbon in a color to match
  • 6- 1/8 inch buttons
