The lacy sleeves on this lovely sweater may look complicated, but the stitch pattern is very simple and it works up quickly. Use a soft yarn for the drapey fit shown here, or a stiffer yarn if you prefer more body.
In Reverse Stockinette Stitch (Rev St st), 12 sts and 15 rows = 4"/10 cm; in Openwork Pattern, 10 sts and 17 rows = 4"/10 cm.
At 6' tall, I used to have a hard time finding sweaters with long enough sleeves. So I took up knitting to make my own sweaters.
