Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, basic increases and decreases, yarn overs

Pattern Description:

Kim combines an easy lace pattern with a cable panel in a sweater that can be cropped or longer. You can use just 1 large button or several smaller ones. In other words, you can adapt Kim to your own vision of what she should look like, The knitting is easy; you will be done quickly.

Gauge:

4.5 sts = 1" in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • FINISHED CHEST MEASUREMENTS: 38 (41.5, 45)"
  • FINISHED LENGTH: 17 (18.5, 21.5)" for cropped; 22 (23.5, 26)" for longer version

Materials:

  • 800 (950, 1110) yds of worsted weight yarn for cropped
  • 985 (1115, 1315) yds of worsted weight yarn for longer version
  • #8 needles or size needed to get gauge
  • G crochet hook
  • 1 large button (1-2")
