Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Work with DPNs/ magic loop or any preferable circular method for sleeves
  • Keep track of variable shaping increases between shoulders, neck, and armholes
  • Prior project using contiguous method would be a bonus

Pattern Description:

This design is completely seamless and uses a great technique for seamless set-in (contiguous) sleeves developed by Susie Meyers (SusieM). The modeled cardigan is made in 50% cotton & 50% acrylic yarn but can be made using any yarns as per your preference and season.
Take your time to check your gauge.

Sizes available: 3,6,12,18,24mths.
Corresponding chest sizes being: (23.60, 25.20, 25.60, 26.80, 27.60)inches/ (59.00, 63.00, 64.00, 67.00, 69.00)cms

Total 200-400yds yarn required depending on size being knit.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3 Months
  • 6 Months
  • 12 Months
  • 18 Months
  • 24 Months


  • US 6(4mm) circular (24inches/60cms long) and a set of DPNs in the same size or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Worsted/Aran weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Waste yarn (3 lengths - 2 sleeves and 1 back)
  • 5 stitch markers (preferably one in a different color)
  • Tapestry Needle
  • One button (half inch/2.5cms diameter)

Suggested yarn:

400 yards of Worsted weight
