Pattern Description:
Justine is a tunic-length hooded sweater knit from the top down. The bodice is knit flat with increases for raglan sleeves and a v-neck, then is joined in the round to knit the body and skirt. Sleeves are short, perfect for layering or stand alone wear. The hood is knit from the neck up, the top seam closed with a kitchener stitch, and then stitches picked up along the edge to knit the ribbing. Patch pockets are added at the end.
Gauge:
19 stitches and 24 rows over 4 inches (approximately 10 cm) using worsted weight yarn
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 6m (12m, 18m, 2, 4, 6, 8)
- 17 (18, 19, 20, 23, 25, 26.5) inch chest measurement.
Materials:
- US8 (5.0mm) - 16" or size needed to obtain gauge.
- US7 (4.5mm) - 16" or one size smaller then needed to obtain guage.
- US8 (5.0mm) - 24" for sizes 6 and 8.
- US8 (5.0mm) - DPN
- stitch markers
- yarn needle
- stitch holder or scrap yarn
- Worsted weight yarn approximately 350(425, 500, 575, 625, 725, 850) yards (320(390, 475, 525, 550, 660, 730)meters) Yardage requirements are estimates.
