Pattern Description:

Javi is a playful pullover for infants and toddlers, and is equally suitable for boys and girls. Functional button plackets make it easy to get on over bulbous little noggins. Sleeves are bound off at a short length, and full-length sleeves in a textured stitch are picked up from beneath, giving the illusion of 2 cozy layers, without too much bulk.

Sizes:
Finished chest measurements:
18 (19, 20, 21, 22)" / 46 (48, 50, 53, 56) cm, to fit babies and toddlers approximately 3 (6, 12, 18, 24) months old.

Sample is 19", shown on 6 month old, 17 pound baby.

Supplies:
Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport, 137yd/50g ball. MC Oyster Heather: 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) balls; CC A Forest Heather, CC B Grass, CC C Peapod: 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) ball(s) each.

Or approximately 175 (200, 225, 250, 275) yds / 160 (180, 205, 230, 250) m sport weight yarn in main color, and 30 (50, 75, 100, 130) yds / 30 (45, 70, 90, 120) m each of 3 contrast colors.

Needles:
1 US 5 / 3.75mm 16" / 40cm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
1 set US 5 / 3.75mm double pointed needles
1 US 3 / 3.25mm 16" / 40cm circular needle, or needle 2 sizes smaller than that used for gauge.
1 set US 3 / 3.25mm DPNs

Six 1/2" / 15mm buttons
Yarn needle

Gauge:

24 sts and 36 rows = 4" / 10 cm in st st on US 5 needles
