Basic Skills Necessary:

  • K, P, basic cable, K2tog, SSK, Three Needle Needle BO, picking up sts

Pattern Description:

This is one of my favorite sweaters. A beautiful stitch pattern, simple details, with minimal finishing and nothing fussy. Cuffs and collar roll sightly then wave gently. Ribbing on the sides provide shaping and keep you cozy.

Pattern written for worsted weight yarn

1,040 (1,185, 1,325, 1,475, 1,630) Yards


22 sts & 26 rows = 4" / 10 cm
in cable pattern after blocking

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 28 (32, 36, 40, 44)" finished chest


  • US 8 / 5mm 24" circular Needle The bottom is a bit flared, if you do not like this use a US 7 / 4.5 mm for the ribbing.
  • US 8 / 5mm 16" circular Needle

You Will Also Need:

  • 2) Stitch Markers, Cable Needle, (2) Stitch Holders.
