Pattern Description:
A vintage inspired cardigan that is simply classic. A small dab of lace runs along the hem of the body for a bit of texture and small slits are featured on the hem of the 3/4 length sleeves. The body of this cardigan is knit in one piece up to the armholes and then divided to work back and forth. The sleeves are worked in the round up to the sleeve caps.
Gauge:
24 sts and 33 rows = 4″ (10cm) in Stockinette stitch

- Chest: 31.5 (34, 36.25, 38.5, 41, 45, 49.5, 54.25)"
- Length: 20.5 (21, 21.5, 21.75, 22, 22.5, 23, 23.5)"
Materials:
- Madelinetosh tosh sock (100% merino wool; 395yds/361m per 100g skein); color: Lichen; 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins
- 1 US size 4 (3.50mm) 24″ circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
- 1 set US size 4 (3.5mm) double-pointed needles

My Grandmother taught me how to knit when I was seven years old. However, I quickly lost interest making Barbie tube dresses and put down the needles for several years. My passion was renewed when I moved to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I majored in Fashion Design and specialized in knitwear.
