Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

The upper body and sleeves are knit from the center out to the sleeve cuff, with some short rows worked to shape the armholes and sleeve caps. The lace body is picked up from the lower edge of the bodice and worked in the round to the lower edge.

This is a really fun-to-knit, seamless sweater that will add a comfortable touch of style to any wardrobe.


16 sts and 24 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Stockinette Stitch with largest needles; 1 patt rep (13 sts) = 31/2" (9 cm) with medium needles.

  • 311/2 (35, 381/2, 42, 451/2, 49, 521/2)"
  • 80 (89, 98, 106.5, 115.5, 124.5, 133.5) cm


  • Berroco's Remix yarn: 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5) balls #3922 Buttercup
  • or approx 480 (550, 610, 670, 740, 810, 880) yards in a comparable earth-friendly yarn
  • straight needles size US 8 (5 mm)
  • 32" circular needle size US 7 (4.5 mm)
  • 16" circular needle size uS 6 (4 mm)
  • double pointed needles size US 6 (4 mm)

  • stitch markers
  • waste yarn (for provisional cast on)
