Have fun knitting Hare Belle, a cute baby jumper with looped buttoned closure at the neck featuring a family of hares.
You will need buttons to close the neck.....ideally carrot shaped if you can find them!
The first time I saw Estonian lace, the nupps reminded me of bunnies tails, so each member of this hare family has a nupp tail borrowed from Estonian Lace. Blue for dad, pink for mum and white for the little ones.
Pattern chart is provided for the hares motif which can be worked either as intarsia or stranded knitting, whichever you prefer.
25sts x 34 rows 4in/10cm in stockinette using 3.25mm needles.
565 yards of Sport weight
