Pattern Description:

Perfect for a new baby gift, this lovely little sweater features scalloped lace and simple button hole closure. A classic style!

Sized to fit newborns up to 3 months.
This pattern is part of my Gracie series, and more patterns are soon to come!

Please note that since this photo, I have lengthened the sleeves. This pattern is for sweater only. Skirt is also available.

Gauge:

Gauge: 18 stitches/26 rows= 4" in stockinette stitch, on size 7 needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Newborn to 3 months

Materials:

  • 1 Set, Size 7 (4.5 mm), Double Pointed Needles (preferably 5")
  • Size 7, 24", Circular Needles
  • About 2.8 ounces (79.3 grams) of worsted weight yarn, 10-ply, or Aran (I used 2, 50 grams, skeins of Knitpicks Comfy Worsted)

You Will Also Need:

  • (2) 1/2" buttons
  • Stitch holders or spare yarn
  • Needle and thread for sewing buttons on

Suggested yarn:

172 yards of Worsted weight
