Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Working in the rnd, increases, decreases, picking up sts, provisional CO, short rows. (The pattern contains a list of tutorials demonstrating more difficult or less common techniques.)

Pattern Description:

Fun to knit and comfortable to wear, Flower Cardigan has an unusual construction - it starts from a hexagon-shaped upper back and is worked from the centre of the flower motif outwards.
The cardigan is seamless: back and fronts are worked in one piece, then raglan sleeves are knitted onto the body. Fronts are shaped with short rows, using the yarn-over method so there is no need to pick up wraps.
The cardigan can be made in wool or cotton, with either long or short sleeves. Body length can be adjusted.
