This beautiful cardigan is worked in one piece to the armholes. The sleeves are worked back and forth, then sewn into the armholes. The picot-style edging adds just the right finishing touch. Wear the cardigan with a pin at the neck or without any closure at all, or work the edging to accommodate small buttons (optional).
The yarn I used works up at a gauge of 5 sts per inch in Stockinette stitch; if you wish to use a different yarn, make sure you find one that will match this gauge.
17 sts and 28 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Floral Mesh
At 6' tall, I used to have a hard time finding sweaters with long enough sleeves. So I took up knitting to make my own sweaters.
