  • lace knitting
  • kitchener stitch
  • provisional cast-on
  • I-cord (all techniques used are explained in full detail)

Pattern Description:

Fleur: the perfect, lightweight cardigan for cool spring or summer evenings.
It is worked with a larger needle size than recommended to obtain an airy, stretchy light weight garment.

This is a versatile pattern that looks very different depending on type of yarn chosen (it works well with cotton or linen blends, too) and colors used, going from romantic feminine white to colorful flower power (try to experiment with different colors for the cardigan and the flowers)

Fleur is worked top-down with raglan sleeves and is completely seamless.
The lace flowers are knitted separately in the round and sewn in afterwards. The flowers are charted with fully written instructions.

The cardigan is finished with an applied I-cord and I-cord buttonholes.

Instructions for long, 3/4 or short sleeves, and for a short cardi or a longer version with waist shaping.
