Fibonacci Capelet

Fibonacci Capelet

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit in the round, make one, color chanages

Pattern Description:

The Fibonacci is an easy, fun capelet (or poncho depending on your age). It is knit in the round from the top down so you can easily make it longer or shorter. I am amazed at how flattering the capelet is! I have seen it on people from petite size 2 to tall, plus size, and it looked great on all of them!

The cape is made from three different weights of yarn. I encourage you to use at least one or two variegated yarns to give it more interest. When we taught this pattern at the store we had a ton of fun picking out colors.

I knit the original all from stash and left over yarn. People in the class chose to use more than 3 colors -- you can easily do that just by reordering the yarns. Feel free to contact me for advice -- my e-mail is on the pattern.

Bottom line, this is fun and easy to knit. You will want to make more than one!! And they are great presents.
