Pattern Description:

With a tiny lacy wing motif and fairy wings added to the heel, these baby fairy shoes are made in 3 sizes.

Knitted flat on two needles using DK/8 ply yarn, these are so quick and easy to make that they would be a good pattern for a last minute baby shower gift.

I used DK superwash wool but other soft wool-mix, cashmere or alpaca yarns would be fine too, though 100% cotton may be a bit heavy for the wings to sit up properly.

20 sts, 27 rows to 10 cm in stocking stitch on 4 mm (US 6) needles, using DK/8 ply yarn.

  • DK/8 ply yarn, 30 (35, 40) gms; 60 (70, 80) m / 66 (77, 88) yds approx
  • 2 small buttons , approx 1 cm diameter.

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 pair 4 mm (US 6) needles
  • tapestry needle for sewing seams needle and strong thread for buttons
