We both learned to knit as kids from our grandmothers, and we just never stopped! Although we own a yarn company, and knitting is our main passion, we both sew, cook, crochet, needlepoint, and draw.

Pattern Description:

Designed by Kate Gagnon Osborn and knit out of Organik in a vibrant combination of Atoll + Arctic Tundra, this cardigan is inspired by woven plaid and features a longer body length, set in sleeves, wide button band and a warm and comfy shawl collar.

Gauge:

20 sts and 21 rows = 4" in Fair Isle on larger needles after blocking.

18 sts and 22 rows - 4" in StSt on larger needles after blocking

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To fit 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50)" bust. Please see schematic for more detailed measurements

Materials:

  • The Fibre Company Organik, 70% Organic Merino, 15% Alpaca + 15% Silk. 98 yds/50 gms per skein. Atoll (MC), 9 (10, 12, 13, 14, 15) skeins; Arctic Tundra (CC), 2 (2, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins.

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 pair Size 5 mm (US 8) straight needles
  • 1 pair Size 4.25 mm (US 6) straight needles and 40" circular
  • 2 stitch markers
  • Tapestry Needle
