Pattern Description:

A light short sleeved top perfect for Summer. The texture reminds you of the healthy dragon. Easy to knit, you'll love to wear this comfy short sleeved sweater. Knitted top down in one piece you won't have to deal with sewing. Sweater has a round yoke and shaping is mostly done playing with needle sizes and stitch patterns.

The pattern contains written instructions only (there is no complex stitch pattern that requires a chart).

Skill level: easy.

Finished size bust: 26 (29, 33, 36, 39, 43) inches
To fit bust: 28 (31, 35, 38, 41, 45) inches
Note: Top should be worn with about 2 inches of negative ease.
Total length (can easily be adjusted): 19 (19 1/2, 20 1/2, 21 1/2, 22 1/2, 23) inches

Yarn requirements:
Fingering weight yarn (cotton or cotton blend suggested): 750 (800, 850, 900, 950, 1000) yards


24 stitches x 34 rows = 4" in stockinette on larger needles.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To fit bust 28 - 45 inches


  • 750-1000 yards fingering weight yarn
  • Size US 6 / 4 mm circular needle (24" long, 32" for larger sizes)
  • Size US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle (24" long, 32" for larger sizes)
  • Size US 6 / 4 mm double pointed needles
  • Size US 4 /3.5 mm double pointed needles
  • A few yards of waste yarn (for provisional cast on and holding stitches)

You Will Also Need:

  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle
  • 3 stitch markers (2 + 1 different)
