I have been into all kinds of crafts from a young women. I sold crochet items to make extra money when my children were young and made many outfits for my daughters. I discovered double knitting in the 1960's and later wrote a book on double knitting. I've sold oil paintings and wood carvings, made jewelry, macrame', played with cement and clay etc. and I play piano and guitar. There are more, but I think you get the idea...I love all kinds of crafts!View all patterns by designer (11) »
This design is interesting to make on two needles and feels lovely to wear. It can be made to have entirely different looks with the use of colour. My favourite thing is that it gets easier as you go as you are working with less and less stitches. There are no seams to sew. It is knit inside out and when you finish you turn it right side out and put it on.
The only difficult part of this sweater it that there are a lot of stitches to begin. Other that that it is not difficult although I suggest that you don't make it your first double knit project.
My email is:
I will be available for any help you may need for as long as you need it to complete this sweater....Lynn
measuring the stitches on one side it appears to be 4 stitches = 1 inch.
