Basic Skills Necessary:

  • working in the round
  • following a lace pattern
  • picking up stitches
  • grafting live stitches together (kitchener stitch)

Pattern Description:

This short sleeve, warm weather garment features a lace border at each hem and on the neckline as well as a flattering pleat on the front of the garment. Design includes optional waist shaping and is knit from the bottom up in the round, then worked back and forth to create neckline. Raglan style sleeves are attached seamlessly. Pattern includes 12 sizes, and is suitable for tweens through plus size! Knit a size up if you prefer a more relaxed drape. Shown in finished chest size 31.75 inches.

Gauge:

22 stitches and 30 rows per 4 inches in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Chest: 27.25(29.5, 31.75, 33.75, 36, 38.25, 40.25, 42.5, 44.75, 47, 49, 51.25) inches

Materials:

  • 430 (485, 545, 600, 670, 735, 810, 880, 955, 1040, 1125, 1210) yards dk weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Size 6 (4 mm) 24" or 36" circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, stitch markers
