Pattern Description:

This is a new version of the original free Dirghagama baby cardigan, size 6 months in Bulky yarn, which was made as a baby shower present for a lovely couple who study the Dirghagama. Dirghagama means 'a long (dirgha) discourse of Buddha (agama)' in Sanskrit and is a collection of 48 sutras, or rather records of the oral teachings of the Buddha from the 8th century. So now you know!

Gauge:

20 stitches and 26 rows per 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Materials:

  • 4mm circular
