Pattern Description:

A lightweight, feminine vest in brilliant colours with a delicate fern lace pattern. It is designed in a way that you don't have to decrease on the lace panels, they remain intact from the bottom to the top. Dark Forest is knitted in the round (up to the armholes) from the bottom up, without any seaming, the shoulders are finished with 3-needle bind off.

Gauge:

21 sts / 28 rounds = 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch, using larger needles
22 sts / 28 rounds = 10 cm / 4 inches in pattern, using larger needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Chest: 82 (87, 92, 96) cm / 32 1/4 (34 1/4, 36 1/4, 37 3/4) inches
  • Length: 56.5 (56.5, 57, 57.5) cm / 22 1/4 (22 1/4, 22 1/2, 22 3/4) inches

Materials:

  • YARN: fingering weight wool (sample: Kauni Wool 8/2 Effektgarn), 580 (630, 670, 700) meters / 635 (690, 730, 765) yards
  • 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4 mm (US 6) circular needle, 60 cm (24 inches) or longer (longer needle recommended for larger sizes)
  • 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needle, 40 cm (16 inches) long OR dpn
