Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Cast on, cable stitch

Pattern Description:

Knitting from the top down and in the round is my favorites method to use. It's quick and there are no seams to sew. My friends are having Grandbabies and requested something with a cable, so here is it. The pattern is designed for sizes 6 months to 10 years. It's quick and fun to knit. Enjoy

Gauge:

18 stitches and 24 rows/rounds = 4" in stockinette stitch

You Will Also Need:

  • 8 Stitch markers, yarn needle (just to hide the yarn ends)
  • Row counter
  • Cable needle
  • 3 or 4 large snaps or zipper (separating)

Suggested yarn:

400 yards of Worsted weight
