Pattern Description:

Cabletta Junior is a beautiful garment with an interesting hourglass shape on the back inspired by a store bought sweater. It is a girly version of my adult Cabletta Cardigan.

This cardigan is knitted top down, completely seamlessly with set in sleeves worked using short rows. First, you knit the back and then both fronts. When you reach the underarms, join all pieces to work them together. Once you complete the body, pick up the stitches around the armholes to work the sleeves from the top down.

Gauge:

19 sts and 26 rows per 4 10cm in Stockinette stitch " save time by checking the gauge :)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 1.5 (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) years
  • To fit chest: 19 (21, 23, 25, 261/2, 28, 30)
  • Size in cm: 86 (92, 104, 116, 128, 140, 152)
  • The cardigan is meant to be worn with a small amount of positive ease.
