Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit and purl stitches
  • Increases and decreases
  • Knit in the round
  • Cables

Pattern Description:

This simple baby pullover is knit seamlessly from the top down with raglan increases for the sleeves and an asymmetric cable pattern on the front. Buttons along the raglan line make dressing baby easier. Instructions are included for both short and long sleeves.

3 months (6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months)

Finished Measurements:
Chest: 18(19, 20, 21, 22) inches
Length: 8(9, 9.5, 10, 10.5) inches


26 sts and 36 rows = 4"/10cm in St st.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3 months (6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months)


  • Sport weight yarn 50g/190 yd skein x 2(2, 3, 3, 3) skeins
  • Circular needle in size US 4 (3.5mm)
  • Set of 4 double pointed needles in size US 4 (3.5mm)
  • Cable needle
  • Yarn needle
  • 6 stitch markers (2 in a different colour or shape to mark start and end of cable pattern)
  • 2 Stitch holders or waste yarn
  • 3 Buttons
