I've always loved the lattice stitch and thought it would make a lovely yoke for a sweater. I think it looks beautiful with the basket lattice framed by simpler cables. I used the Ridged Eyelet Border to separate and define the yoke and body, as well as to finish the neck, cuffs, and hem. it's such a simple stitch but it makes a big impact.
The yarn I used works up at a gauge of 4.5 sts per inch in Stockinette stitch; if you wish to use a different yarn, make sure you find one that will match this gauge.

At 6' tall, I used to have a hard time finding sweaters with long enough sleeves. So I took up knitting to make my own sweaters.
