Pattern Description:

Worked from the toe up with a textured heel flap, these knee highs feature a tiny, twisted cable on the outside of each sock, while subtle calf shaping is worked across only the back half of stitches. Finished off with a delicate lace edging, Bonneterie are named after the French word for "hosiery". Step out in style!

The 3-page PDF includes instructions for altering the length of the foot and leg to achieve a perfect fit, and also gives both written instructions and a chart for the lace edging.

Gauge:

32 sts/39 rounds = 4 inches in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Women's Small (8 inch ankle)
  • Women's Large (10 inch ankle)

  • 650 yards fingering weight yarn; sample shown in Knitshop Socks Yarn (80% wool, 20% ramie; 300 meters per 100 gram skein); colour: Mustard; 2 skeins
