Baroque dress

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit intarsia

Pattern Description:

Sweaters and cardigans... I wanted to design something different for a change. I wanted something "old fashioned" and "modern", all at the same time. That's how I thought of a dress with baroque motives. I love how baroque fashion design flatters the female body. This style is so very "old fashioned", though... I made my transformations, I shortened the huge baroque skirt, I spent days thinking of how the motives should be designed, I designed the charts again and again and here it is!
I used fine yarn and thin needles (US 2). Yes, I was knitting for days. It's not an easy pattern, I admit. It was a challenging project. I love the result, though. I hope you'll love it too.
