Pattern Description:

These cute little overalls could be worn with a short sleeve shirt underneath, for the spring baby, with a matching sweater for those cooler nights. This set was knitted up in a 5ply cotton, which is beautifully soft and cool for the spring/summer months. Also knits up beautifully in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino yarn for the Autumn/Winter bub.

Yarn required - 5ply yarn (Classed as Fine #2 - Sport, Baby) as per Standards & Guidelines for Crochet and Knitting, compiled by Craft Yarn Council of America.

With Right side facing rejoin yarn to remaining 30 [37] sts, row 5 should read as follows;
5th Row First Buttonhole - P1, K2, yfw K2tog, K1, P2 *K5, P2, rep from * to last st, K1
(Only one buttonhole is worked in this row)

In the directions on Page 4, first column, Row two should read as follows;
Next Row Second Buttonhole - P1, K2, yfw K2tog, K1, P2 *K5, P2, rep from * to last st, K1

Gauge:

26 stitches over 36 rows = 10cm (4") square worked in stocking stitch on 3.25mm (US3, UK10 needles.
