Pattern Description:

This beautiful little Baby Rainbow Stripe Cardigan is perfect for a baby boy or baby girl. By simply changing the Colour D yarn to Pale Blue or Pale Pink and placing the buttonhole band on the right or the left
For all sizes you will need 100 grams of Baby DK in Colour A. Lilac and a small quantity of of each Colour B. Lemon. Colour C. Mint and Colour D. Pale Blue (Boy) or Pale Pink (Girl) Optional.
The knitting pattern is written for 3 sizes to fit ages 0-3 months. 3-6 months. 6-12 months.
It's a very simple knitting pattern, if you can Cast on, Knit, Purl, Increase, Decrease and Cast off, you can knit this fabulous little Cardigan.

Gauge:

22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm. 4 inches over stocking stitch using 4mm (UK8-USA6) Knitting Needles or the size required to obtain the correct tension.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Ages 0-3months 3-6months. 6-12months.
  • To Fit Chest: 40.5cm:45.5cm:50.5cm.
  • 16inches. 18 inches. 20 inches

Materials:

  • Colour A. Lilac. 100 Grams. Baby DK Yarn.
  • Colour B,C,D Small quantity of each colour in Baby DK for the Stripes and Ribs. All sizes.
  • 1 pair of 3.25mm (UK10-USA3) Knitting Needles.
  • 1 pair of 4mm (UK8-USA6) Knitting Needles.
  • 3 Buttons
  • 1 stitch holder.

Suggested yarn:

450 yards of DK weight
