A great introduction to Intarsia knitting!
Asian-inspired, and a great stash-buster, this little jacket has plenty of ease to fit over other layers. It uses intarsia twists to incorporate the two colours, and knitting from the top down makes this a seamless one-piece wonder with surprisingly few ends to weave in.
With three sleeve variations, and unlimited colour combinations, the possibilities for personalization are endless. Make it as special and unique as the little miss or mister who will wear it!
Sleeve variations: Sleeveless, Short-Sleeved, Long-Sleeved
15 sts & 20 rws = 10 cm (4") on 6.0 mm needles in Stockinette Stitch.
200 yards of Chunky weight
I have been "crafting" ever since I was little, with plenty of help from two very artistic grandmothers and a mom who taught me to sew at the age of nine. I haven't looked back, and now I sew, knit, (and design in both mediums), crochet (although it's not my favourite), scrapbook, paint, and cook! (Cooking can be a craft, right?)
