I'm a knitter, mother, wife, indi-pattern designer, and recently earned a master's degree in psychology. In addition to designing knitting patterns, I also test/sample knit, take in repairs and finishing work, and occasionally take on commissioned pieces. Let me put my creativity to work for you! www.cambriawdesigns.comView all patterns by designer (7) »
Apogee is a top-down v-neck pullover with cables and raglan sleeves. It is worked from the top-down, in one piece; sleeves are worked in-the-round. The raglan shaping incloses a cable, which travels down the body to create waist shaping, and back up the arm for a fun sleeve detail. Cables flow organically into the ribbing. It's the perfect boyfriend-style cardigan, and includes traditional and tall lengths (5'10" - 6'6"). (The sample design was knit to fit a 38" bust, 6' tall.)
Yardage for the tall sizes; 1100 - 1980 yards (1006 - 1811 m).
Yardage for standard sizes: 1100-1320 yds.
Both are estimates; please check the return policy of your LYS, and consider purchasing an extra skein if you are taller than 6' 2" and concerned about running out.
18 sts and 24 rows per 4" [10 cm] in stockinette, on larger needle. Take time to check gauge carefully to ensure proper fit.
