Pattern Description:

Anna Mae is a cozy pullover that would fit in any wardrobe. Worked top-down, seamlessly in one piece, it is designed using two different knitting methods: traditional saddle shoulders and contiguous sleeves after the method developed by SusieM.
The twist-stitch panels add some natural shaping and keep the knitting interesting. In addition, waist shaping is included for a flattering, body-skimming fit.

Gauge:

23 sts and 32 rows per 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch on US 4 [3.5 mm] needles after blocking

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 30 (32, 34, 36, 38, [40, 42, 44], 46, 48, 50, 52)"
  • The pullover is meant to be worn with approx. 1 to 2" [2.5 to 5 cm] of positive ease. This is already incorporated into the pattern.

Materials:

  • 1880 - 3640) yards of any fingering weight yarn that knits up to gauge with TWO STRANDS OF YARN HELD TOGETHER.

You Will Also Need:

  • US 4 [3.5 mm] 47" [120 cm] & 32" [80 cm] circular needles or DPNs
  • US 21/2 [3 mm] 47" [120 cm] & 32" [80 cm] circular needles or DPNs
  • Cable needle (CN)
  • 4 stitch markers + BOR marker
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch holder or scrap yarn
