Pattern Description:

Alpinia is a simple, yet very pretty short sleeved cardigan that is perfect for the warmer months or to add an extra layer during the cooler ones. It is knit from the top down all in one piece so there is no seaming required and you can try it on as you knit to get the perfect length for you.

Materials:
460 (500, 530, 570, 600, 650, 700) yards / 420 (457, 485, 521, 549, 594, 640) metres DK weight yarn.

It is easy to extend the length of this cardigan, the pattern also includes details on increasing the length of the yoke for a fuller bust.

Gauge:

4" = 20sts x 26 rows

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Size XS (S, M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X)
  • To fit bust 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46, 50-52, 52-54) inches

Materials:

  • 460 - 700 yards DK or light worsted weight yarn
  • US6 / 4mm needles
  • 4 -5 buttons
