Pattern Description:

The little bag, which sports a zipper, fits inside the larger bag and can be used for small essentials. The larger bag can be used as a clutch, or snap on the adjustable strap for a shoulder bag.


15 sts and 22 rows to 4 ins in St st

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished Size:Zip Bag: 7"w x 3 3/4"h
  • Finished Size: Flip Bag: 8"w x 8"h (size may vary depending on length of felting)


  • 1 Skein Malabrigo Selecion Privada (100% merino wool) (216 yds/100g) #G Color A 1 Skein Malabrigo Worsted Sunset (100% merino wool) (216 yds/100g) #96 Color B
  • 1 16" circular needle, size US 10 1/2 (6.5 mm) and any other US 10, 10 1/2, or 11 needle for 3 needle bind off
  • 1 size J Crochet Hook

You Will Also Need:

  • Stitch Marker
  • 7" closed bottom zipper
  • Magnetic Clasp
  • (4) Size 2 Sew-On Snaps for detachable strap
  • 6" long piece of 1/4" wide ribbon for zipper pull
  • 6" long piece of ?" wide ribbon for magnetic closure
  • (2) 2 1/2" long pieces of 1/4" wide ribbon for shortened strap
