Pattern Description:

Inspiration strikes at any time! The idea for this hat came to me from a pair of slippers, my lovely Mum sent to me, last Winter. Their Humbug stripes and jolly pompoms cheered my feet up. Now my head can be just as happy! As fun to knit as it is to wear, this top down, seamless hat has a shapely, short row brim and optional pompoms.

Gauge:

22 stitches x 28 rows = 4"/10cm worked in Stockinette Stitch in the round using US 6/4mm knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To Fit Head Circumference: 19-20 (21-22, 23-24)"/48-50.5 (53-56, 58-61)cm

Materials:

  • Yarn Berroco Lustra (50% Peruvian Wool, 50% Tencel), 3.5oz/100g, 197yds/180m. Main Colour (MC): 1 Skein of # 3101 Bchamel Contrast Colour 1 (CC1): 1 Skein of # 3134 Eiffel Contrast Colour 2 (CC2): 1 Skein of # 3173 Coulis Contrast Colour 3 (CC3): 1 Skein of # 3140 Montmartre Or yarn that knits to specified gauge.

You Will Also Need:

  • Needles 1 24"/60cm or longer US 6/4mm circular needle 1 24"/60cm or longer US 4/3.5mm circular needle
  • Other Tools Needed 8 Stitch Markers Tapestry/Darning Needle
