Pattern Description:

When my brother's friend asked for a "sweet beanie" to wear while he worked, I quickly got out my needles and yarn. Thus, I designed this hat for wandering around the winter beauty in Yosemite National Park. The design features a twisted rib brim and slipped stitches worked as a cable motif.

Gauge:

16 sts and 32 rows in pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Infant, Child, Adult Medium (16.5", 19.5", 24" circumference)

Materials:

  • 1 skein Juniper Moon Farms Chadwick [60% merino wool and 40% alpaca, 202y/185m per 100g skein]; 1 skein (shown in Mercury)

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 16" US 6 circular needle- adult
  • 1 16" US 7 circular needle-adult
  • 1 set US 6 double pointed needles- infant and child only
  • 1 set US 7 double pointed needles
  • Stitch marker
  • Yarn needle
