Pattern Description:

Winter Berries hat is a cute tam or beanie worked form the brim up in versatile worsted weight wool. It features a beautiful lace and mock cable pattern and is a very enjoyable and fast knit.

The pattern is available in 2 options: a moderate tam (pink sample) and a more fitted beanie (white sample). Both options are in the pattern.

Gauge:

21 sts and 28 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch, blocked.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Measurements: 18 (20, 24)" brim circumference

Materials:

  • Option 1 (beret): 175 yds of worsted weight wool
  • Option 2 (beanie): 155 yds of worsted weight wool

You Will Also Need:

  • US size 6 (4mm) circular 16 inches
  • US size 8 (5mm) circular 16 inches
  • Set of US size 6 (4mm) dpns for in the round knitting (optional)
  • Set of US size 8 (5mm) dpns for in the round knitting (optional)
  • Tapestry needle
  • 1 stitch marker
