Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit and purl stitches
  • eyelets/basic lace
  • provisional cast-on
  • short rows
  • kitchener stitch

Pattern Description:

A gentle slouchy come rasta Hat, using simple lace for the brim and picot edge for detail. Wonderful in solid and variegated yarns alike.

Pattern is knit sideways, using a provisional cast-on and grafting for a seam free finish. Shaping is created with short rows. Links to specialist tutorials are included. Pattern is provided in both written and charted format.


Gauge 24sts x 32rows to 10cm/4inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To fit size: 18/19 (20/21, 22/23) in, 46/48, (51/53, 56/58) cm
