Pattern Description:

Wild Flower is a stranded capelet worked in the style of Fair Isle knitting.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate: Pattern uses stranded knitting, working from colorwork charts, decreases, and knitting in the round.

Yarn: Approximately 564 {662, 758, 856, 952, 1049} yards / 516 {605, 693, 782, 870, 960} meters in DK weight yarn in 7 colors.

Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) and US 6 (4mm) circular needles at least 29" / 74 cmin length, double pointed needles in smaller size as needed

Gauge: 24 stitches x 26 rows = 4" / 10 cm in colorwork chart and using larger needles, after blocking. Take time to check gauge.

To size, measure the circumference around the widest part of the chest plus arms, and add 5" / 13 cm of ease. If you are between sizes, go up a size for a more roomy capelet and down for a more snug capelet.
