I had always thought that it is a perfect pattern for a cowl.
The paw peerie and the shadow dogs - one looking up, one looking down - is just a perfect match for the Westie.

How do you think about it?

Cowl measurements: height 22 cm, width 25,5 cm (front and back each)
Knitting gauge: 1 x 1 inch: 8 stitches and 9 rows.

I used 4-ply sock yarn of different manufacturers.
