Undulating Waves

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit, purl, pick up stitches on purl side, purl two stitches together from two needles

Pattern Description:

The Undulating Waves pattern is a quick, easy, and interesting scarf. It is knit on the bias so the welts appear to be made diagonally. I used Noro Kureyon yarn in color 40. The blue and green tones gives the scarves the look and feel of waves.

The pattern includes written instructions on how to create the welts as well as photographs to assist. It is relatively easy, just take some care in counting rows.

Be sure to gauge because the pattern requires almost all of the yarn.

Have fun!
