Is there errata for this pattern?? It seems like the heel directions for the S/M size should be for the L size instead (S/M ends up with 24 stitches at heel, while L only has 22).

DPNs or circular to begin with, as the slippers are knit in the round like socks.

Hello Sarapiani, The slippers are cast on with dpn's and knit in the round for a few inches. There is not a traditional heel. There is minor shaping and the heel is formed by folding the fabric in half and seaming. I hope this helps. Kindest regards, Amanda

Hi Amanda, this is my first attempt at slippers, and I'm a bit stumped at the rows after the gusset part of the slipper. I'm using a magic loop. Could you recommend a video or book or something to help with this next part.
"Next round: k2, k2tog, k1, Knit another stitch that you will now use to bind off. Bind off center 4 (4, 6) sts, ssk, knit to the end of the round and then knit the first 4 sts. from the first needle.= 22 (22, 24) sts.
At this point you can place stitches on 1 or two needles since you are no longer working in the round.
Begin to work back and forth in stockinette stitch."
Please help! I really need some visual guidance here
Joan

This is really a great pattern very easy to knit up and quick also. The fit is good and the icord edge keeps them on I would recommend this pattern even to a new knitter I was very satisfied with the purchase.
