Pattern Description:

Twisted Fibonacci is a twist on Fibonacci numbers (pattern repeats in Fibonacci sequence alternate the main and contrasting colors and a literal twisted cowl (faux mobieus?). It requires a provisional cast on, cables, knit in the round, worked with two colors, alternating pattern charts, and Kitchener stitch ends. Sounds complex, but works fast, creating a colorful, chunky and warm cowl.


approx 20 stitches per 4 inches in stockinette stitch

You Will Also Need:

  • Tapestry needle
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch markers - optional

Suggested yarn:

440 yards of Worsted weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Cascade 220 Superwash


874 Ridge Rock - 1 skein; 1960 Pacific - 1 skein
