These fingerless mitts feature a lovely lace pattern that looks like the branches of a tree, and a deep, comfortable gusseted thumb. You can make the mitts longer by adding more pattern repeats at the start (they are worked from the bottom, up).
They are designed to fit a small/medium lady's hand, but they have plenty of stretch. If you your hands are on the larger side, cast off really loosely using a bigger knitting needle than the pattern suggests. The pattern also includes a note on how to adapt the design for larger sizes.
The yarn allowance is on the generous side, just in case you wish to make the mitts longer by adding more pattern repeats at the start.
The pattern includes written and charted instructions.
