Basic Skills Necessary:

  • do stranded knitting with at most two colors in one round

Pattern Description:

Sweet, fast and easy to knit turtle beanie with an interesting border pattern.

This beanie fits size S and M. (up to 56 cm head circumreference)

The knitting instruction with all charts is available in English.

Gauge:

Knitting gauge: 1 x 1 inch: 8 stitches and 9 rows in stranded knitting

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 54 to 56 cm head circumreference

Materials:

  • 50 g of dark green 4-ply sock yarn and 50 g of off-white 4-ply sock yarn.
  • Some leftover of black sock yarn (it's only needed for one round).
  • About 15 g of light green sock yarn (it's needed for 4 rows).
  • Circular needle 40 cm 3.00 mm and 5 double pointed needles size 3.00 mm for the top of the head.

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle to weave in the ends

230 yards of Fingering weight
