Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, make 1, slip slip knit, knit 2 together, cable, 3 needle bind-off, slipped stitches, provisional cast-on, purl 2 together, centered double decrease

Pattern Description:

Sometimes an idea works up even better than it was in my head, and this hood is a great example. The yarn washed and blocked into a wonderfully warm and smooshy fabric that's perfect for cold winter days.


9 sts and 12 rows = 4 in/10 cm in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size, oversized fit for teens and adults


  • US 13 needles, a 3rd needle for bind-off, a crochet hook for cast-on, yarn needle, 130 yds super bulky yarn

Suggested yarn:

130 yards of Bulky weight
