Pattern Description:
Lately, my interest in crochet has been renewed yet I still favor knitting. So, I decided to combine the two into one project! And since granny squares are so much fun, the name of the pattern ended up being, "The Square Hat."
If you love to knit AND crochet, then this is definitely the hat pattern for you!
Gauge:
5 sts and 6.5 rows = 1" in St st in the round
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Finished size 20" and designed to fit snuggly; when stretched will fit head circumference of 20" - 22"
Materials:
- 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn - 1 for the main color and 1 for the contrasting color for the granny squares (197 yds each)
You Will Also Need:
- U.S. Size 6 (4.0 mm) 16" circular needle, U.S. Size 6 (4.0 mm) double pointed needles and Size E-4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook
