The Lizzie Hat/Chemo Hat knits up fast, being knit from the bottom up and in the round, using worsted weight yarns. A great stash buster or you can choose to simply knit it up in one color. It uses the basketweave stitch and twisted stockinette stitch. Enjoy using a variegated yarn in the band and crown of the hat. If you have ever braided hair, then you will find it super easy to follow the clear directions for the braid, which beautifully sets off the whole look! (U Tube has some great tutorials if you are needing just a bit more of a visual).
Wear it to just look snazzy, wear it on a bad hair day, or donate it to your local cancer center and help out a fellow sister undergoing chemo!
Bet you can't knit just one!
*A percentage of every Lizzie pattern will be donated to www.TheHearttruth.com, a national campaign to promote research, prevention, awareness of how Heart Disease affects women! It is the #1 killer above all cancers combined! Join me in this effort!
4.5 stitches = 1" and 6 rows in stockinette stitch.

I am one of 2 sisters who share a love of knitting, dark chocolate and fine wine, not necessarily in that order! Our design name, Bellsisters, was born out of a hilarious mishap at Stitches West one year! You can read all about this embarrassing moment on Ravelry.com, under the profile of Bellsisterding OR bellsisterdebbie.
