The Champlain Beret
The Champlain Beret

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

Inspired by a cold ferry ride across Lake Champlain, this beret is that perfect cozy accessory that is both warm and stylish. This is a quick pattern, knit with 90 yards of super bulky yarn in the round on circular or double pointed needles. I would consider this an intermediate pattern, altho none of the stitches are difficult, you just need to know knits and purls and simple increasing and decreasing.

9 stitches and 12 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • average adult head

  • US size 13 circular and/or dpns
  • 90 yards super bulky yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • stitch marker
